The company worked then under the name of Bayerische Stickstoff-Werke AG. Because of the amalgamation in 1939 of this company with the Bayerische Kraftwerke AG and Donauwerke AG a new company Süddeutsche Kalkstickstoff-Werke AG was formed, which was later to become SKW Trostberg AG and Degussa GmbH, the conditions then arose for today’s production facility, the “CHEMIEPARK TROSTBERG” (TROSTBERG CHEMICAL PARK).
