Gersthofen industrial park, currently home to twelve companies with around 1,400 employees (of which 140 are trainees), is an attractive industrial site in southern Germany. Located just to the north of Augsburg and only 40 minutes drive from Munich, the industrial park is at the heart of Bavaria, one of Europe's fastest growing business regions.

IGS (Industriepark Gersthofen Servicegesellschaft mbH), a 100% subsidiary of MVV Energiedienstleistungen GmbH, is the site operator and service provider for the Gersthofen industrial park. The 35 hectare site, originally used for the Hoechst AG chemical works, is now an industrial park with state-of-the-art infrastructure and 24 hour on-site security surveillance. IGS offers the companies at the Gersthofen industrial park a highly flexible and exceptional range of services and an infrastructure which is unique.

The industrial park owns 35 hectares of fully developed and security monitored land; social facilities; a biological sewage plant; power and consumables supplies, plus metal, electrical and plastics workshops.
