Industriepark Köln - Merkenich
Industriepark Köln - Merkenich

WHERE THE CHEMISTRY IS RIGHT
Industriepark Köln-Merkenich evolved from the former production facilities of Wacker Chemie. Since September 2002, the entire industrial park has been managed by ThyssenKrupp Xervon, which at the time also took over 65 Wacker employees within the scope of an outsourcing project.

The service spectrum ThyssenKrupp Xervon provides for the local companies of Vinnolit and Air Products Polymers is widely faceted: Spanning from full maintenance of production facilities to general services on site, such as works security, canteen catering, material and inventories management, facility management to building and
conversion projects.

Furthermore, ThyssenKrupp Xervon also signs responsible for running the infrastructures relevant to production, such as a biological water treatment plant only recently extended and modernized by ThyssenKrupp Xervon.

The companies running their productions in the Industriepark Köln-Merkenich can rely 100% on the services ThyssenKrupp Xervon provides. They have come to appreciate the flexibility and proficiency of an experienced industrial services provider, benefiting from the close proximity, and the speedy response as a result thereof, if need be.

ThyssenKrupp Xervon was formed from the merger of ThyssenKrupp Plant Services GmbH and the PeinigerRöRo Group. With a workforce of some 9,000 employees, ThyssenKrupp Xervon ranks among the leading international services providers for the processing industry, with a focus on the chemical and petro-chemical industry as well as the energy sector. Apart from the Industriepark Köln-Merkenich, ThyssenKrupp Xervon runs further industrial parks, e.g. in Salzbergen and Münchsmünster.

The company is represented throughout Germany with more than 30 locations and its international presence extends from Austria, Benelux, Poland, the United Kingdom and Scandinavia to the Middle East and Asia.
