Bayer AG settled in Brunsbüttel in 1973 and, as the largest chemical company in the region, is represented in the Brunsbüttel ChemCoast Park. At the Brunsbüttel site the preliminary products TDI and MDI for polyurethane foam are produced.
In addition, with an unbuilt and partially developed industrial area of more than 250 hectares Brunsbüttel Bayer Industrial Park offers optimal conditions for new companies to establish themselves.
Located between the Elbe River and the Kiel Canal with possibilities for direct port connections and embedded in a fully developed infrastructure, the Park is an ideal site for new companies to settle in and to concentrate fully on their core businesses. All other matters will be handled by the operator (Bayer MaterialScience AG) of the 420-hectares Bayer Industrial Park.
The infrastructural facilities include mechanical and process control engineering facilities, complete energy supply from electrical power to NH3 and compressed air, efficient waste water management, a fire department, safety and security systems, an authorization office and others.
For many years the following partners of the Industrial Park have benefited from this offer:
